Joelle Scott

Chief Operating Officer

Joelle Scott oversees all aspects of research operations and client management at CRI. She is responsible for managing several functions covering client and project on-boarding, investigative research and reporting, editing, and relationship management.

She has over 20 years of experience in business investigations and is the co-author, along with Kenneth S. Springer, of “Digging for Disclosure: Tactics for Protecting Your Firm’s Assets from Swindlers, Scammers and Imposters.” For more than a decade, Joelle assisted Richard Wald at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.

Joelle is a Certified Fraud Examiner and active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Overseas Security Advisory Council, and the National Law Enforcement Associates.

Joelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Colgate University and her Master of Science degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
