CRI Reveals a Person has Multiple False Identities
A private equity firm was seeking a manager for one of its portfolio companies. The search committee had been particularly impressed by one specific applicant and, in turn, asked CRI to verify the applicant’s background and experience.
We found out the applicant had deftly used false identities to obscure a longstanding criminal record. In fact, at the time of his application, he was actively attempting to evade an all-but-certain prison sentence.
The client retracted its tentative offer to the applicant.
